How to claim a Zebronics warranty in India: term by category, flow and what voids it A guide to claiming a Zebronics product warranty in India. First, check which term applies to your product category: wired earphones get 6 months, speakers, TWS earbuds, headphones, smartwatches and keyboards and mice get 1 year, and A, S and N series monitors get 3 years, all from the date of purchase. Then a three-step flow: step 1, keep the tax-paid invoice and leave the warranty and serial stickers intact; step 2, raise a service request on support.zebronics.com or carry the product to a Zebcare centre; step 3, get it repaired or replaced, with a brand-new unit if it was dead on arrival within 15 days. A red callout lists what voids the warranty: water or physical damage, no tax-paid invoice, and tampered stickers or outside repair. A closing strip notes that wired earphones get 6 months and most audio gets 1 year, so each product runs its own clock and the invoice is the only proof. How to claim a Zebronics warranty in India The term depends on the category — 6 months, 1 year or 3 years from purchase First — check which term applies to your product Wired earphones 6 months Speakers, TWS, watches 1 year A, S & N monitors 3 years 1 Keep the invoice tax-paid bill + stickers intact 2 Raise a request support.zebronics.com or carry it to Zebcare 3 Repair / replace carry-in or onsite new unit if DOA ≤ 15 days What voids the warranty Water or physical damage No tax-paid invoice Tampered stickers or repair Your warranty is only as good as your invoice. Wired earphones: 6 months. Most audio: 1 year. Each runs its own clock. Keep every invoice, serial and expiry in one place, so nothing lapses. Zebronics was founded in Chennai in 1997, and its range now runs from wired earphones and TWS buds to soundbars, gaming keyboards, monitors and smartwatches. That breadth is exactly why the same question gets asked in so many shapes: a speaker stops pairing, one earbud goes silent, a keyboard key dies, a smartwatch will not charge, and the search that follows is some version of “zebronics warranty check” or “zebronics warranty claim”. The process is simpler than it looks, but Zebronics has one twist that matters more than anything else. This is the working guide.

The single most important fact up front: Zebronics’ warranty period depends on what kind of product you bought. Headphones, wireless earphones, portable speakers, smartwatches and keyboards and mice get 1 year; wired earphones, mobile cables and power banks other than MagSafe models get only 6 months. It covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, and — like every warranty — it is only worth anything if you still have the tax-paid invoice. Everything else is downstream of those two facts.

How to check your Zebronics warranty status

Here is where Zebronics is more helpful than some audio brands: there is an online status view. It just comes with a condition — it only shows products you have registered.

The support portal at support.zebronics.com signs you in with your mobile number and a 6-digit OTP sent by SMS — no password to remember. Zebronics says that once you are in, your account shows warranty status, drivers, manuals and one-tap complaints for everything you have registered. Registration itself sits under Register Warranty on the same portal, and Zebronics says it takes about 30 seconds and unlocks faster support and instant complaints.

If you never registered the product, the practical check is the same one that works for every brand:

  • Find your invoice (Amazon or Flipkart order, shop.zebronics.com order, or the retail bill).
  • Read the purchase date and identify the product category.
  • Add the term for that category — 1 year for TWS earbuds, headphones, portable speakers, smartwatches and keyboards and mice; 6 months for wired earphones.
  • If today is inside that window, the fault is a defect rather than damage, and the stickers are intact, you likely have a claim.

Two details are worth knowing. First, registration is not one of the conditions listed in Zebronics’ warranty policy — the policy says the warranty period starts from the first purchase of the product. What registration gets you, according to the portal, is the online status view and one-tap complaints. Second, whatever the portal shows, the policy is explicit that the tax-paid invoice must be available and shown during repair. The status screen does not replace the bill.

Zebronics warranty period by product type

Zebronics publishes a category-by-category warranty table on its official warranty policy page. For the products most people are asking about, it reads like this:

  • Headphones (wired and wireless, including gaming headphones) — 1 year.
  • Wireless earphones — 1 year. The table has no separate TWS row; TWS earbuds and neckbands are wireless earphones, so this is the row that matches them. Wired earphones — 6 months.
  • Portable speakers — 1 year. Home-audio speakers, subwoofers and soundbars also carry 1 year, but how they are serviced differs: 2.1, 2.2 and 4.1 subwoofers, soundbars below the Juke Bar 4000 and mini trolley speakers are listed as onsite only at the dealer’s place, while 5.1 and 5.2 subwoofers, DJ, tower and trolley speakers and soundbars from the Juke Bar 4000 up are listed as onsite up to the customer’s place.
  • Smartwatches — 1 year.
  • PC peripherals — keyboards and mice, gaming keyboards, gaming mice, gaming microphones and webcams — 1 year. A, S and N series monitors get 3 years (the first year onsite, the second and third in-house); V, E and G series monitors get 1 year in-house.
  • Mobile accessories — mobile cables, power banks, mobile adaptors and travel adaptors — 6 months. MagSafe power banks are listed separately at 1 year.
  • Small accessories — the policy’s general accessories row (remotes, adaptors, microphones and the like) — 3 months. Some adaptors and microphones have their own rows with longer terms, such as mobile and travel adaptors at 6 months and laptop adaptors and gaming microphones at 1 year, so look for your exact product.

Two honest caveats worth internalising. First, wired versus wireless is the hinge: a pair of wired earphones carries half the cover of a TWS pair from the same brand, so do not assume a year. Second, Zebronics itself says that warranties can differ across models within the same category, and that its terms can change without notice. So the table is the starting point, not the final word.

There is one more Zebronics-specific detail: commercial use cuts the cover. If a product is used to achieve commercial or financial goals, the policy gives it 3 months of warranty only. Ordinary office use for administrative or clerical work does not count as commercial — but a speaker running all day in a shop might.

So the rule is simple: read the category and the purchase date off your own invoice, match the category against Zebronics’ official warranty policy page, and if your model could be an exception, ask Zebronics support to confirm its term.

How to claim your Zebronics warranty, step by step

The claim can start online or at a service centre. Zebronics runs its service through Zebcare, its service arm, plus authorised service providers.

  1. Find your invoice and check the stickers. You need the tax-paid invoice, and the warranty and serial-number stickers must be intact and untampered. Do not write the purchase date on the product — the policy treats any remarking on the product as a reason the warranty ends.
  2. Confirm the term and that you are still inside it. Match your category to the table above and add the term to the invoice date. Outside the window, the repair is charged as out of warranty and done only at Zebcare.
  3. Register and sign in on the support portal. Go to support.zebronics.com, sign in with your mobile number and OTP, and register the product under Register Warranty.
  4. Raise a service request, carry it in, or book onsite. Raise a service request from the portal, or take the product and invoice to the nearest Zebcare or authorised centre — the portal lets you search centres by pincode, city or state, and they open Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 1pm, closed on Sundays and public holidays. For products that carry onsite service, you can request an engineer visit; onsite service is available in selected cities and pin codes only.
  5. If it was dead out of the box, ask for DOA replacement. A product that does not turn on within 15 days of purchase qualifies as Dead on Arrival. Submit it to a nearby Zebcare centre in brand-new condition with its packing and accessories; once the defect is confirmed, you get a brand-new replacement.
  6. Follow up until it is resolved. Call 044 4000 0004 (Mon–Sat, 10am–6pm IST), or use the contact form on the support portal, where Zebronics says it replies within 24 hours.

Three practical notes from the policy. Any replacement means visiting Zebcare with the full product, its accessories and intact packing — replacement is not done onsite. The same colour is not guaranteed, and if the same model is unavailable you are offered an alternate model of equivalent value, priced at the current market rate or your invoice rate, whichever is lower. And Zebronics says it is not responsible for damage to, or loss of, a product couriered to Zebcare by a dealer or user — so carrying the product in yourself is the safer route.

That is the whole flow. The friction is almost never in the steps — it is in step 1.

Common reasons Zebronics warranty claims fail

A claim can fail for reasons that have nothing to do with the fault itself. Zebronics’ warranty policy writes the conditions and exclusions down; the big ones:

  • No tax-paid invoice. The policy only applies when the purchase invoice is available and shown during repair. Lost invoice, lost claim.
  • Damaged, missing or tampered stickers. The warranty sticker and the serial-number sticker must both be intact. Products with missing or altered service tags or serial numbers are out.
  • Writing on the product. Zebronics lists “any remarking on the product such as mentioning the date of sale” as a reason the warranty ends. Write the date on the invoice or in a tracker — never on the device.
  • Opened or repaired outside Zebcare. If anyone other than a Zebcare-authorised centre or engineer has opened or tried to repair it, cover is gone. A cheap local fix today can forfeit the warranty entirely.
  • Water, burn, rust or physical damage. The circuit board and components must not be damaged, burnt, rusted or water-logged. Accidents, abuse and misuse sit outside the cover too.
  • Surges and acts of nature. Damage from lightning, voltage surges or abnormal voltage, and acts of God are excluded — worth remembering for speakers and subwoofers that stay plugged in.
  • Bought from an unauthorised seller, or second-hand. The warranty applies only to products bought from Zebronics or its authorised sales channels, online or offline. It is non-transferable and does not survive resale.
  • Commercial use and normal wear and tear. Commercial use cuts cover to 3 months, and ordinary ageing is never a defect.

Read that list once and the pattern is obvious: the warranty protects you against the factory getting it wrong, not against the world happening to the product. Keep the device intact, keep the stickers readable, and keep the invoice.

The real problem: you’ll lose the invoice before it breaks

Notice how many of the failure modes above come back to one document. Zebronics’ warranty is essentially a bet that, months after purchase, you can still produce the tax-paid invoice for a pair of earbuds or a keyboard you bought between two other orders.

Zebronics makes that bet harder in a specific way: it is rarely just one product. The brand’s range is wide enough that a household can easily own a Zebronics soundbar, a wireless mouse, a pair of wired earphones and a monitor — and each runs its own clock. The earphones lapse at 6 months, the mouse at a year, an A-series monitor at three. On top of that sits the 15-day Dead on Arrival window, the one case where the policy spells out a brand-new replacement, and it closes fast. You don’t get a reminder the day before any of these run out; you find out only when something breaks.

This is a tracking problem, not a Zebronics problem — and it multiplies across every gadget you own. The Zebronics speaker, the phone, the mixer-grinder, the router: each has its own invoice, its own serial, its own expiry date, all scattered across inboxes and drawers. Nobody’s memory holds that, least of all which category decided whether you had 6 months or a year.

That is the gap Product7 is built to close. It’s a warranty and product tracker: you add each product once by scanning the invoice or entering the model and purchase date, it keeps the receipt, serial number and service contacts in one place, and it reminds you when a warranty is about to expire. So when the left earbud dies in month eleven, you already know it’s still in warranty, and the invoice is one tap away instead of one frantic inbox search away. The first two steps of the claim above — find the invoice, confirm the term — stop being a scavenger hunt. The same habit works for the pTron warranty guide, the boAt warranty guide and every other brand you own, which is the whole idea behind a warranty tracker app.

The short version

  • Zebronics’ warranty is set by category: 1 year for headphones, wireless earphones, portable speakers, smartwatches and keyboards and mice; 6 months for wired earphones, mobile cables and power banks other than MagSafe models; 3 months for small accessories such as remotes — all from the first purchase.
  • To check it, register the product at support.zebronics.com and sign in with your mobile number and OTP to see its warranty status — or read the invoice date and add the term.
  • To claim, raise a service request on the portal, carry the product and tax-paid invoice to a Zebcare or authorised centre, or book onsite where it applies. Dead on arrival within 15 days means a brand-new replacement.
  • Claims fail on a missing invoice, tampered stickers, writing on the product, repair outside Zebcare, water, burn or physical damage, surges, commercial use, or a purchase outside authorised channels.
  • The one habit that makes all of this painless is keeping every invoice, serial and expiry in one place — which is the whole point of a warranty tracker like Product7.

Keep the bill. Know your category. The rest is easy.
