How to claim an Ambrane warranty in India: term, flow and what voids it A guide to claiming an Ambrane product warranty in India. First, check which term applies to your product: 6 months is the standard on most Ambrane products and for purchases made anywhere other than Ambrane's website; some models, such as several wireless chargers, are listed with 365 days; and purchases from ambraneindia.com get an extra 30 days once registered. Then a three-step flow: step 1, keep the invoice or a stamped warranty card as proof of purchase; step 2, open a case with Ambrane by email at [email protected] or by phone, with photos or a video of the fault; step 3, film a handover video at pickup, then get a repair, a replacement or a credit note. A red callout lists what voids the warranty: physical or liquid damage, non-standard adapters or cables, and unauthorised repair. A closing strip notes that most Ambrane products carry only 6 months, so the invoice is the only proof and the window is short. How to claim an Ambrane warranty in India The term depends on the product — most get 6 months from the date of purchase First — check which term applies to your product Most products 6 months Some listed models 365 days Website buy, registered +30 days 1 Keep the invoice or a stamped warranty card 2 Open a case [email protected] add photos + video 3 Repair / replace film the handover or a credit note What voids the warranty Physical or liquid damage Non-standard adapter/cable Unauthorised repair Your warranty is only as good as your invoice. Most Ambrane gear gets just 6 months — half a year to keep the bill. Keep every invoice, term and expiry in one place, so nothing lapses. Terms vary by product · always confirm the period on your invoice and warranty card.

Ambrane makes everyday charging gear (power banks, wall chargers, cables and wireless chargers) plus Dots earbuds and Wise smartwatches. When one of those fails, the search that follows is usually “ambrane warranty claim” or “ambrane warranty check”. The honest answer is short, but one detail catches people out: the length of the warranty. This is the working guide.

The single most important fact up front: the Ambrane warranty period depends on the product, and for most products it is 6 months. Ambrane’s own replacement policy says the standard warranty is 6 months for purchases made anywhere other than its website. Some models are listed with 365 days, and website buyers get 30 extra days on top. The warranty covers manufacturing defects only, and it is only worth anything if you still have the invoice. Everything else follows from those two facts.

How to check your Ambrane warranty status

Here is what most “ambrane warranty check” searches get wrong: Ambrane’s support and warranty pages offer no lookup where you type in a serial number and see how many months you have left.

Your status comes down to one date, the date on your invoice, plus the right term for your product. So the practical check is:

  • Find your invoice (Amazon or Flipkart order, ambraneindia.com order, or the shop bill).
  • Read the purchase date and the model.
  • Add your product’s term, which is 6 months for most Ambrane products and 365 days for the models listed that way. Add 30 days if you bought on ambraneindia.com.
  • If today is inside that window and the fault is a manufacturing defect, you have a claim.

Ambrane runs a warranty registration form at ambraneindia.com/apps/product-registration. Its support page describes the extra 30 days for website purchases and then asks you to complete the registration to activate your warranty, so do it as soon as the product arrives. Count the term from the purchase date on your invoice: Ambrane’s terms and product listings tie the warranty to the date of purchase.

Ambrane’s terms say the warranty needs the original invoice copy, either on its own or together with a warranty certificate filled in and stamped by the authorised distributor or retailer. A stamped card does not replace the invoice. In practice your warranty lives on a piece of paper, or a PDF in an inbox, that you have to produce when asked.

Ambrane warranty period by product type

Ambrane’s support and policy pages give no single table of warranty terms by product. You have to read the term product by product, and when we checked in October 2026, the official product pages looked like this:

  • Power banks and chargers. The Stellar 20K power bank and the Charge 33 wall charger both show a 6-month warranty. The PowerMini power banks are described with 180 days, which works out to roughly the same six months.
  • Earbuds and smartwatches. The Dots Pro earbuds and the Wise Roam 2 smartwatch both show a 6-month warranty badge.
  • Wireless chargers, charging hubs and power strips. Several AerosynQ wireless chargers and the Charge Hub 65 are described with a 365-day warranty, and the Charge Hub 65 page shows a 1-year badge. Some SmartStrip power strips say 180 days and others say 365.

There are two caveats. First, the listing can disagree with itself. The Wise Roam 2 and AerosynQ 2 pages both show a 6-month badge but describe a 365-day warranty further down. When that happens, go by what is printed on your box, warranty card and invoice, and confirm with Ambrane support before you count on the longer term. Second, the warranty covers manufacturing defects only. It is not an accidental-damage plan.

Ambrane also treats batteries and cables differently. Its terms say the limited warranty covers the product and the original accessories delivered with it, and that batteries, USB cables and connectors are covered for six months. So the cable in the box is covered, but only for 6 months, and only for defects. A physically damaged cable is not covered.

So the rule is simple: check the term printed for your specific model, add it to the date on your invoice, and treat the warranty card in the box as authoritative. Don’t go by a blog or by what a helpline agent remembers.

How to claim your Ambrane warranty, step by step

The claim starts online or on the phone. Ambrane asks you to open a case before any service, so you do not need to walk into a service centre first.

  1. Find your invoice and warranty card. Ambrane wants the original invoice, on its own or with a warranty certificate completed and stamped by the authorised distributor or retailer. Keep the box too.
  2. Confirm your product’s term and that you are still inside it. That is usually 6 months, sometimes 365 days, plus 30 days for a website purchase. Outside the window, the case will be handled as an out-of-warranty repair. Ambrane charges for those, and only takes them on if the unit is repairable.
  3. Open a case with Ambrane. Ambrane says you must open a case for any support, in warranty or out of it. Email [email protected] (Ambrane says it replies within one working day), call +91-11-69951111 (Mon–Sat, 10am–6pm), or use the WhatsApp link on the site, which opens a chat with the same number.
  4. Send the invoice, photos and a video of the fault. Ambrane may ask for images, videos and order details, and its warranty terms say it cannot move a warranty repair forward without supporting photos or videos. “Power bank stops charging at 20%” is far more useful than “not working”.
  5. Hand over the unit, and film the handover. Once Ambrane has all the information it needs, its repair steps say it picks the product up within 4 to 5 business days, and it asks for a 360-degree handover video at pickup along with your unboxing clip. If you are asked to send the unit to a service centre yourself instead, the warranty policy puts that shipping cost and risk on you. Ambrane pays only the return courier.
  6. Follow up until it is resolved. Once Ambrane confirms a manufacturing defect, it repairs or replaces the unit at its own or an authorised service centre. A unit that cannot be repaired may get an equivalent product or a credit note for the invoice value, and Ambrane expects all the accessories back or deducts charges for missing ones. Replacements can wait on stock, and Ambrane’s policy pages give no repair turnaround time.

That is the whole flow. Where it usually goes wrong is step 1.

If the product was faulty from the start, there is a separate route. Ambrane treats a defect at the point of sale or within 5 days of delivery as dead on arrival (DOA). Its policy asks you to raise the complaint immediately at [email protected] or [email protected], keep a copy of the invoice ready, and return the unused product in its original packaging with all accessories and manuals within 24 hours of receiving it. Ambrane alone decides whether a unit counts as DOA. Website orders should report a damaged, defective or wrong item within 48 hours of delivery.

Common reasons Ambrane warranty claims fail

Most rejected claims are not rejected because Ambrane is being difficult. They are rejected because the product falls under one of the exclusions in its own terms. These are the big ones:

  • No valid invoice. Ambrane’s terms make the original invoice a condition of the warranty, and a stamped warranty certificate goes with it, not instead of it. A lost invoice means a lost claim, and it is the easiest way to lose an otherwise valid warranty.
  • Physical, burn or liquid damage. A cracked casing, a burnt port, a bent or broken connector, a damaged cable, a liquid spill: Ambrane’s terms exclude all of these, along with accidents, abnormal use and excessive heat or moisture.
  • Non-standard adapters or cables. Ambrane treats a product as out of warranty if it was used with non-standard adapters or cables that don’t match its rated specifications. This matters most for power banks and chargers, so use a charger and cable rated for the product.
  • Lightning, abnormal voltage and transit damage. Damage from lightning, abnormal voltage or acts of God is excluded, as is damage while the unit is in transit.
  • Self-repair or unauthorised service. If someone Ambrane has not authorised has tried to repair the product, or its circuitry, software or body has been modified, cover is void. A cheap local repair can cost you the whole warranty.
  • Bought outside India, or not the first owner. Ambrane’s warranty applies only to products bought in India, and only to the first purchaser.
  • No video evidence. Ambrane asks for a 360-degree handover video at pickup and an unboxing clip, and says it cannot move a warranty repair forward without supporting photos or videos. Its product pages also say video proof is required to raise any dispute about an order.

The pattern is obvious once you read the list. The warranty protects you when the factory gets it wrong, not when something happens to the product. Use rated chargers, keep the device intact, keep the invoice, and film the handover.

The real problem: you’ll lose the invoice before it breaks

Notice how many of the failure modes above come back to one document. An Ambrane warranty relies on you producing the exact invoice for a power bank or cable months after you bought it, often as one item in a larger online order.

Most people can’t. Because most Ambrane products carry only a 6-month window, you have half a year to keep track of the bill before the warranty quietly runs out. Nobody reminds you before it lapses. You find out when the power bank stops holding charge, and by then it may be too late.

This is a tracking problem, not an Ambrane problem, and it gets worse with every gadget you own. The power bank, the phone, the earbuds, the router, the mixer-grinder each have their own invoice, serial number and expiry date, scattered across inboxes and drawers. Nobody can hold all of that in their head, least of all which product got 6 months and which got a year.

Product7 is built to close that gap. It is a warranty and product tracker. You add each product once, by scanning the invoice or entering the model and purchase date, and it keeps the receipt and serial number with that product and reminds you before the warranty expires. So when the power bank dies in month five, you already know it is still covered, and the invoice is one tap away instead of buried somewhere in your inbox. Finding the invoice and confirming the term takes a few taps instead of an evening of paper hunting. The same habit works for the pTron warranty guide, the boAt warranty guide and every other brand you own, which is the whole idea behind a warranty tracker app.

The short version

  • Most Ambrane products carry a 6-month warranty from the purchase date, some models are listed with 365 days, and website purchases get 30 extra days (Ambrane asks you to register to activate the warranty). It covers manufacturing defects only.
  • To check it, Ambrane offers no serial lookup. Read the invoice date and your product’s term, and treat the box and warranty card as authoritative where the listing is unclear.
  • To claim, open a case at [email protected], on +91-11-69951111 or on WhatsApp. Send the invoice and photos or video, film the handover at pickup, and expect a repair, replacement or credit note once a defect is confirmed.
  • Claims fail on physical, burn or liquid damage, non-standard adapters or cables, abnormal voltage, unauthorised repair or a missing invoice. A repaired unit keeps only what is left of the original warranty.
  • The one habit that makes all of this easy is keeping every invoice and expiry date in one place, which is what a warranty tracker like Product7 is for.

Keep the bill, check your model’s term, and the rest is straightforward.
